Gun violence is a rising issue in Toronto. However, it affects communities all across Canada. Initiated by Claire Smith, with the help of Julie Dabrusin, MP, e-petition 2097 was created to push the Canadian Government to place a ban on the civilian ownership of handguns and military assault weapons. 

With the goal of 20,000 signatures, Canadians need to step up and be a part of the solution to gun violence.
